About the Role:
The Occupational Health Nurse Specialist plays a vital role in promoting and maintaining a healthy and safe work environment for employees at Cone Health. This position is responsible for developing and implementing programs and services that support the well-being of our workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the needs of the employee population and identify strategies to optimize health and prevent injuries and illnesses.
- Document assessments, treatments, outcomes, work and disability status, screenings, and educational offerings in a thorough and accurate manner.
- Assist with health screenings and health assessments to identify and monitor risks to employee health.
- Offer health promotion incentives and educational materials to promote employee health and wellness.
- Communicate health information to the organization in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain clear and concise employee health records to meet departmental and company requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee health information and health records.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (Required)
- Registered Nurse licensed in North Carolina or a Compact state (Required)
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider (Required)
