About this Role
Your initial assignment will be in the vicinity of Corona, NM.

What You'll Do
- Repair and replace damaged or worn components.
- Dismantle and reassemble heavy machinery utilizing hoists and hand tools.
- Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to identify defects.
- Test mechanical products and equipment post-repair or assembly to ensure optimal performance and adherence to manufacturers' specifications.
- Conduct cleaning, lubrication, and other routine maintenance tasks on equipment and vehicles.
- Interpret operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Overhaul and test machinery or equipment to confirm operational efficiency.
- Fit bearings to adjust, repair, or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine necessary repairs, employing engine diagnostic tools such as computerized testing equipment and calibration devices.
- Inspect components for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges.

What You'll Bring
- Willingness to travel across the nation.
- 2-5 years of independent heavy equipment mechanic experience (candidates with formal training but lacking experience will also be considered).
- Fabrication and welding skills are preferred.
- Ability to work extended hours and lift/move at least 50 lbs.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License.
- Compliance with OSHA and other Federal, State, and local safety regulations.
- Valid DOT Medical Certification.
- Heavy equipment mechanic certification is preferred.
- Successful completion of pre-employment and other drug screening requirements.
