Claims Processor II

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Processor II to join our team at Magellan Health. As a Claims Processor II, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing claims in accordance with our company's policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Process claims in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Adjudicate claims and adjustments as required, utilizing reference materials and analytical skills.
- Resolve claims edits and suspended claims, working closely with the Quality team for clarity on procedures and complex claims.
- Provide backup support to other team members as assigned, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
- Manually price claims using various tools and processes, ensuring accurate payment.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate computer applications, including experience with ICD-9/10 codes and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT).
- Basic analytical skills, with the ability to read and comprehend complex information.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to follow provided directions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, with a preference for a GED or higher.
