Role Summary:

The Kitchen Sanitation Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in our kitchen and dining areas. This position involves a variety of responsibilities that contribute to the overall dining experience of our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to sanitation protocols and procedures in compliance with health regulations.
  • Perform thorough cleaning of food and beverage equipment, as well as the upkeep of food preparation areas.
  • Respond promptly to any unforeseen cleanliness issues, ensuring immediate resolution.
  • Assist in the maintenance of kitchen equipment by following operational guidelines and conducting preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure all cooking and serving utensils are kept clean and sanitized at all times.
  • Maintain adequate supplies of dishes and utensils to support kitchen operations.
  • Engage in sustainability practices, including recycling and waste reduction initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Professional demeanor and a positive outlook.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
  • Dependable transportation is required.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow directions and manage multiple tasks.
  • Physical capability to stand, bend, reach, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Experience with various kitchen equipment is preferred.
Education and Experience:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant setting is advantageous.
