Escrow Officer

We are seeking an experienced Escrow Assistant/Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting buyer and seller closings, coordinating remote closings, handling complaints, and performing other duties as required.

• Conduct buyer and seller closings, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
• Coordinate remote closings, working closely with clients and stakeholders.
• Handle complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Make visits to lenders and real estate agents as needed, in conjunction with the marketing representative.
• Review and work to clear title issues for files, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Train new employees, providing guidance and support.
• Schedule closings, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
• Request updates of title at the time the closing is scheduled.
• Prepare CDs and balance with the lender, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and review closing documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare draft and final CDs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with buyers, sellers, realtors, and lenders to provide documentation for closing.
• Reach out to the File Assigned Attorney when legal questions or issues arise.

• 1 or more years of experience as an Escrow Officer, or 2-3 years of experience as a senior-level Escrow Assistant.
• Excellent computer skills, with experience using title/escrow software, such as Quali plus.
