**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Imaging Technologist to join our team at Mountain Vista Medical Center. As an Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, including X-Ray and CT scans, and ensuring patient safety protocols are in place.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform imaging procedures, including X-Ray and CT scans, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Ensure patient safety protocols are in place, including proper positioning and radiation safety.
- Function as the first line interface with customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their imaging needs are met.
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
**Requirements:**
- Registered as an RT (R) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT certification in X-ray required.
- BLS certification.
- 1-2 years of experience in CT and X-ray.
- Ability to float between CT and X-Ray departments.
- Proficiency with major CT/X-ray equipment, hardware, and software (GE, Siemens, Philips).
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- ARRT certification in CT required or must be obtained within 1 year of employment as CT Tech.
- AZ CRT/CTCT certification granted by MRTBE.
