Box Truck Driver Job Description

At IMC Powered By Parts Authority, we are seeking a skilled Box Truck Driver to join our team. As a Box Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to customers and businesses in a timely and friendly manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Load and transport goods and materials to customers and businesses
  • Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction
  • Operate a bobtail truck and maintain a safe driving record
  • Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints and concerns
  • Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles
  • Accept payments and prepare reports
  • Perform daily maintenance checks on company delivery vehicles
  • Assist with other store and warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Current, valid driver's license
  • Minimum 1 year verifiable Class C Bobtail truck driving experience
  • Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed
  • Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations
