We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer, TLM to be an integral part of our Cloud team. This team is tasked with developing and sustaining our cloud infrastructure and development platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team responsible for the automated deployment of applications in secure production settings.
  • Create developer-centric tools and infrastructure that foster developer satisfaction and enhance development speed.
  • Establish, document, and implement 'golden paths' for teams to construct services in a scalable and secure manner.
  • Collaborate with various teams across the organization to gather requirements, provide support, and advance projects.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in delivering commercial products and services, ideally using Go.
  • Proficient in designing and implementing services using Go, Python, or C++.
  • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines with tools such as ArgoCD and Spinnaker.
  • Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes, including building custom controllers and/or operators for automation challenges.
  • Experience in leading a small team of infrastructure engineers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
  • Managed ingress solutions (Ambassador, Envoy, Istio, etc.).
  • Experience with Developer Platforms in mid-sized or larger organizations.
  • Background in the autonomous vehicle industry.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, the successful candidate will be eligible for performance bonuses, equity compensation, and comprehensive benefits.
