Facility Details
Our detoxification unit is intimate, featuring only five beds, while our residential program accommodates 26 guests. We believe in voluntary participation, and our guests choose to engage with our services to overcome their challenges.
Our culinary team prepares nutritious meals on-site, contributing to a positive atmosphere that our staff appreciates. If you seek a rewarding work environment, this role may align with your aspirations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for guests undergoing detoxification from substance dependency.
- Conduct patient evaluations and complete admission histories.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established nursing protocols and facility guidelines.
- Implement care plans and medication orders as directed by the medical director.
- Educate clients on potential medication side effects and monitor for any adverse reactions.
- Assess clients for substance misuse and withdrawal symptoms.
- Perform vital sign checks, alcohol breath tests, blood glucose monitoring, and urinalysis.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing.
- Experience with documentation processes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
