Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma, Completion of CMA training program, and CNA certification.

Licensure: Valid CMA certification and current CNA certification.

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required, with a preference for candidates having 5 years of experience.

Skills: Proficiency in computer usage, exceptional communication abilities, and a collaborative team spirit.

Transportation: Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality.


Work Environment:

The CMA operates primarily within a healthcare facility, which may involve limited exposure to various health conditions. Candidates must be capable of working in a setting that supports resident care while adhering to safety protocols.


Physical and Mental Demands:

This position requires mobility throughout the facility and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. The CMA must manage stress effectively to meet the needs of residents and their families.

  • Make informed judgments regarding resident care requirements.
  • Maintain a safe and organized environment, adhering to infection control practices.
  • Fulfill assigned tasks in compliance with facility policies.
  • Perform CNA duties as required.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
  • Foster a positive atmosphere that values residents' preferences and needs.
