We are seeking a skilled Medical Assessment Physician to join our team at MRG Exams West. As a medical professional, you will be responsible for reviewing medical health records through our secure web portal and performing comprehensive assessments on United States Veterans.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be proficient in electronic documentation, and possess strong typing skills. They should also be able to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs) and form medical opinions.

This is an exciting opportunity to serve veterans in their community while working as an independent medical examiner. You will review and assess 4 veterans per day on average, with the option to work full-time or part-time. The role involves spending at least 50% of your time reviewing medical records and documenting exam findings electronically.

To be successful in this position, you should have a current license as a physiatrist and be board certified in neurological surgery, PM&R, or psychiatry and neurology. Meeting the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA is essential.

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
