Retrocommissioning Engineer

The Building People, LLC, is seeking a skilled Retrocommissioning Engineer to lead our team in providing comprehensive retrocommissioning and retuning services to large federal buildings in New England.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and conduct retrocommissioning activities, including auditing, inventorying, baselining, benchmarking, implementation management, and measurement and verification (M&V)
  • Facilitate whole building retrocommissioning and retuning to reflect current building use and needs
  • Oversee HVAC techs and other technical personnel
  • Manage contract deliverables and subcontractors
  • Assist in the management and oversight of CMMS and Work Order systems
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in building operations and maintenance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work with a team
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with controls systems such as Distech, Lynxspring, Johnson, Honeywell, etc.
  • Preferred experience with Tridium Niagara and Mechanical Engineering PE
