The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is a premier research and development organization seeking an experienced Systems Engineer. This role will provide subject matter expertise support to the United States Government team acquiring the Sentinel Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) System.

Job Overview

The selected individual will be responsible for providing technical expertise to ensure that all subsystems are designed to integrate across the system. Key responsibilities include assessing hardware and software designs, participating in requirements and design analysis, and providing expertise on the decomposition of system level requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines to assess hardware and software designs.
  • Ensure seamless integration of subsystems.
  • Participate in requirements and design analysis, including digital engineering artifacts.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as computer science, computer engineering, or mechanical engineering.
  • At least 3 years of relevant systems engineering experience demonstrating a strong grasp of systems engineering processes.
  • Experience working with DOORS and Cameo Systems Modeler.
  • Strong team and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a DoD security clearance.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
