About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead the Coalition for Next Generation Life Sciences into its next phase. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about science policy and graduate education to chart the future of an organization committed to data transparency and the future of the biomedical sciences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Strategies for Data Transparency
    • Design and implement initiatives to promote data transparency in the biomedical sciences.
    • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and senior leadership to advance the goals of the Coalition.
  • Grow Membership and Capabilities
    • Develop and implement strategies to expand the membership and capabilities of the Coalition.
    • Liaise with presidents, chancellors, and senior officials at member institutions.
  • Promote Compliance and Engagement
    • Promote compliance with updating milestones among Coalition members.
    • Organize gatherings, events, and other engagements to promote the work of the Coalition.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders
    • Collaborate with organizations and stakeholders interested in data transparency and the future of the biomedical sciences.
    • Work with senior leadership at member institutions and other stakeholders to refine and expand the Coalition's taxonomies and definitions.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in a STEM Field or Policy Orientation
  • Experience in Science Policy and Education
    • Two-Three years of demonstrated experience in a role working in or very closely with policy issues involving science or graduate education.
  • Strong Quantitative and Analytical Skills
    • Evidence of strong quantitative, data analytic, and research design skills.
  • Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills
    • Ability to analyze and interpret data and communicate findings clearly and accurately, in written, oral, and graphic formats.
