Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dermatology Assistant to join our team at Essentia Health. As a key member of our ambulatory care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities
  • Assist RNs, physicians, and other providers in delivering patient care in the ambulatory care setting.
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the appropriate state or current registration/certification as a Medical Assistant.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to obtain within 3 months.
  • 0.8 - 1.0 FTE, with a shift rotation of FTE Flex Days.
