Your Role:

The Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT/Xray will engage in technical responsibilities associated with the CT imaging equipment and Diagnostic Imaging. This includes establishing, initiating, and overseeing procedures to ensure optimal use of the imaging unit. The technologist will also focus on delivering exceptional customer service and fostering respectful relationships while adhering to the principles of AdventHealth. All tasks will be executed in line with established protocols and guidelines.

Your Contributions to the Team:

  • Conduct daily quality assurance checks on imaging equipment.
  • Prepare and calibrate equipment according to established protocols and procedural requirements.
  • Evaluate patient conditions to determine appropriate handling and special needs, while providing clear explanations and preparation for the requested examinations.
  • Assist in the administration of contrast agents to enhance imaging quality.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to review patient records and ensure accurate diagnostic outcomes.

Qualifications Required:

  • Completion of a formal training program in radiologic technology accredited by the AMA.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in Radiology.
  • Possession of a state-specific general radiographer license.
  • Certification in Computed Tomography (A.R.R.T. CT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
