About the Opportunity

The University System of New Hampshire invites applications for a teaching faculty position in General Chemistry at the College of Professional Studies at UNH Manchester. This is a campus-based position located in Manchester, NH, and the ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field. Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach a Wednesday evening (6:10-9pm) General Chemistry I laboratory course for the Fall 2023 semester.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of students with diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to promote academic growth.

About the Compensation

The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience, with a range of $60,000 to $80,000 per year. About the Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field. A PhD and previous teaching experience are preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators.
