Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technician to join our clinical team at DispatchHealth Management. As a Medical Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of licensed Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants to provide patient assessment and monitoring, vital signs, and other clinical tasks.
  • Perform IV starts and blood draws, splint application, wound care, and other medical procedures as permitted by state law.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain point-of-care laboratory equipment, including EKGs and i-STAT devices.
  • Assist NP/PAs in daily functions of a mobile care delivery emergency unit, including documentation, supply management, and stocking.
Requirements
  • Medical Technician with IV Certification
  • Basic Certification with KS EMT License (hiring credential only)
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • BLS, American Heart Association
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
