Refrigeration Technician Specialist

Position Overview:

ITS Technology and Logistics, LLC is a leader in the multimodal logistics and industrial operations sector. We are currently seeking skilled Refrigeration Technicians, both Apprentice and Journeyman levels, to join our dynamic team.

The Refrigeration Technician plays a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and pre-tripping various refrigeration units, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, maintain, repair, and replace electronic, electrical, and mechanical components of refrigeration systems as needed.
• Consult service and parts manuals to determine correct part numbers.
• Operate powered industrial equipment when required.
• Prioritize safety in all operational activities.
• Inspect repair areas for safety compliance.
• Implement measures to prevent injuries and property damage.
• Adhere to environmental regulations relevant to the role.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Compensation:

Starting Pay: $18 - $22/hr for Apprentices, based on experience. $28 - $38/hr for Journeymen, based on experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in refrigeration or reefer repair is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret computer-generated work orders.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and clients.
• Compliance with all workplace regulations, policies, and safety protocols.
• Willingness to obtain Forklift Certification.
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
• Capability to train other staff members as required.
• EPA Certification is required.
