Mental Health Advocate Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Harm Reduction Specialist to join our team at Community Access Inc. This role is an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team of mental health clinicians who work collaboratively with individuals experiencing homelessness, substance abuse issues, and other challenges.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of harm reduction strategies, motivational interviewing, and stage-wise interventions. They will be responsible for engaging participants in services, providing non-judgmental support, and promoting their overall well-being.
This position requires a minimum of two years' experience working with individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health conditions. A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is also required.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Travel across the boroughs is also required.
In exchange for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
