Job Overview

Med-Trans is seeking a highly skilled A&P Base Mechanic - Rotor Wing to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our Airbus EC135 series aircraft.

Responsibilities

* Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications to airframes, rotors, and appliances
* Maintain a high level of technical expertise and stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices
* Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure seamless aircraft maintenance and repair
* Participate in quality control and quality assurance processes to ensure adherence to industry standards

Requirements

* Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License required
* Inspection Authorization Certification preferred
* Three years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience with a minimum of six months helicopter maintenance experience during the last 24 months
* Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs. and lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
* Intermediate-level computer skills with an inventory system
* IFR helicopter avionics and auto-pilot experience preferred
* Manufacturer training or equivalent on Airbus EC135 preferred
* Airbus EC135 maintenance experience preferred
* Prior civilian HEMS experience preferred
