As an Infection Prevention Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of infection prevention and control in our healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct surveillance for hospital-acquired infections and report data to relevant authorities
  • Develop and implement infection prevention policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote a culture of safety and quality
  • Provide education and training on infection prevention topics to staff and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to address infection prevention issues
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Certification in Infection Control (CIC) through the National Certification Board of Infection Control
  • Minimum of three years clinical experience as an RN
  • Preferred: Two years Infection Prevention experience
