About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at BluSky. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to carpentry, including general carpentry, demolition, tile work, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general carpentry tasks, including residential and commercial work
  • Demolish and remove existing structures
  • Install tile and other flooring materials
  • Hang cabinets and install trim
  • Perform door hanging and taping
  • Paint and finish surfaces
  • Perform light electrical and plumbing work
  • Rough framing, including re-framing homes and setting trusses
  • Ensure company and customer satisfaction through professional appearance, expert workmanship, and polite communication
  • Comply with safety, quality, and procedural standards
Requirements
  • Direct experience working as a skilled carpenter is required
  • Knowledge of carpentry and use of carpentry-related hand and power tools
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to work in confined areas, including crawl spaces
  • Understand and follow oral and written instructions
  • Communicate effectively in oral and written forms to execute required paperwork
  • Identify hazards in assigned work areas
  • Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others
  • Meet the mental and physical demands of the job
  • Ability to work with people in a professional manner
  • Maintain a valid and current driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Successfully pass a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report background check
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
