Job Description
The MIL Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Travel Process Improvement Specialist to support a Federal Government client at one of our Washington, DC Metropolitan area locations. This role will be responsible for gathering and documenting travel business processes for an E-Government Travel System, performing analysis on financial and compensation systems, requirements gathering, authoring requirements documents, performing quality assurance testing, and analyzing and reporting the information necessary to support software releases through the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze complex problems and develop alternate solutions
  2. Perform business and system requirements elicitation and analysis
  3. Draft requirements documents and design documents
  4. Draft proposals to resolve systems and business process issues
  5. Develop test plans and execute manual and automated test scripts
  6. Work with clients to review test plans and provide subject matter expertise
  7. Provide product management deliverables to aid the project manager and team
  8. Perform routine monitoring activities and report on the status of the project

Requirements
  • 7+ years of professional experience
  • 5 years of experience with the software development lifecycle
  • Expertise with E-Government Travel Systems and Federal Travel Regulations
  • Expertise with MS Office
  • Must be flexible and have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining a professional demeanor

Salary and Benefits
