Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Executive Underwriter specializing in Inland Marine, with extensive experience in underwriting products related to construction, transportation, and associated property risks. This role is designed for candidates residing in specific states.
Your Team:
Allianz Commercial (AzC) is recognized as one of the foremost marine insurers globally, excelling in inland marine insurance and related property coverage across North America and beyond. Our unmatched marine capabilities allow us to offer a diverse portfolio of customizable products, catering to complex marine accounts requiring innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of regional underwriting strategies.
- Underwrite new and renewal accounts to achieve financial targets.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with producers.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key producers and clients.
- Ensure precise policy documentation is provided to producers.
- Support the acquisition of new business while retaining existing clients.
- Engage in significant projects and mentor junior underwriters.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 11 years of demonstrated success in underwriting profitable inland marine business.
- A bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics is preferred.
- Proficient in assessing risk exposures and natural hazards.
- Adept at analyzing performance against established benchmarks.
Compensation:
The annualized base salary for this position ranges from $117,582 to $232,293, determined by various factors including role complexity and candidate experience.
