Developmental Disability Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to join our team at The Arc Western Montana.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver one-on-one therapy to clients based on their individualized behavior plans.
- Use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to teach new skills and reduce concerning behaviors.
- Implement behavior intervention strategies, including reinforcement and behavior modification techniques.
- Collect and record data on client behavior and progress according to behavior plans.
- Work collaboratively with BCBA, caregivers, and other team members to ensure consistent implementation of therapy.
- Under the supervision of a BCBA, educate and support clients and caregivers by providing guidance on behavior management techniques and therapy goals.
- Assist with the creation and modification of individualized behavior plans under the supervision of the BCBA.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or be willing complete and pass a background check, a 40-hour training program, RBT Competency Assessment, and board examination.
- Ongoing maintenance of certification through continuing education and adherence to BACB's renewal requirements is required.
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques and data collection methods is preferred.
- Competitive pay: $25.00 per hour.
- Paid Time Off (PTO): Up to 3 weeks for full-time.
