Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist will play a critical role in promoting sensory-motor skills in children birth to 3 years old, enhancing their musculoskeletal status, neurobehavioral organization, perceptual and motor development, cardiopulmonary status, and environmental adaptation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment, evaluation, and diagnostic services to develop individualized plans for children and their families.
  • Environmental consultation to ensure safe and accessible environments for children.
  • Providing rehabilitative, active, or restorative services prescribed by a licensed physician.
  • Improving children's functional ability to perform tasks at home and in other environments.
  • Correcting or compensating for medical problems to prevent or minimize disabilities.
  • Completing necessary documentation for reimbursement through primary funding sources.
  • Complying with First Steps Provider Agreement and reporting suspected abuse or neglect.
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Registration with the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Certification by the Medical Licensing Board.
  • Meet criteria for First Steps Provider Enrollment.
