Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, answer questions, and provide assistance with purchases.
  • Order Taking and Processing: Accurately take and complete orders, handle payments, and provide correct change.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, and restocking products.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Perform sanitation duties to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary shop, including emptying trash receptacles and washing windows.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Basic Mathematical Skills: Ability to handle cash, make change, and process transactions accurately.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Availability: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Preferred but not required.
  • Previous Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the food service industry.
