Cafe Barista

Job Summary

As a Barista at Woodcliff Hotel & Spa, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing beverages to our guests. Your role will involve greeting customers warmly, maintaining a clean and inviting cafe environment, and offering menu suggestions to enhance their experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Take customer orders accurately and prepare beverages following company recipes and standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and handling complaints in a professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly.
• Operate cash register and process payments accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely service during peak hours.

Requirements

• A high school education or equivalent is preferred and at least one year as a Barista or related customer service position is also preferred.
• Physical requirements include the ability to work long hours, as needed.
• Possess the ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body and arms, and work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
• Must possess fluency in English and be able to work in stressful, high-pressure situations, with the ability to multi-task on a continuous basis.
• Must be able to work early morning AM positions and weekend availability.
