Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project sponsors and cross-functional teams to define scope, deliverables, required resources, work plans, budgets, and timelines for new initiatives.
  • Coordinate the performance of program vendors and internal resources.
  • Accurately project capital, expenses, and resource utilization across projects.
  • Initiate and update status reports to track and monitor project progress.
  • Actively participate in program and project team meetings.
  • Manage all project-related communications to escalate key issues and present resolution options to leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance protocols.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals and quotations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5 to 10 years of direct experience in a technical industry such as defense, aerospace, or manufacturing.
  • 3-5 years of experience as an assistant project manager or program manager leading product delivery projects.
  • General knowledge of manufacturing techniques, materials, and quality control processes.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and resource management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with change management and performance evaluation processes.
  • Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Project Management Professional Certification is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Experience in supply chain operations and logistics management.
  • Advanced degree and practical experience in systems engineering is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM software.
  • Experience in proposal writing.
