As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Central Florida, you will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in behavioral health, working closely with a team of experts in the field. About the PositionWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong research agenda focused on suicide prevention or end-of-life care, with a proven track record of developing competitive grant proposals. The postdoctoral fellow will be trained and mentored to design, implement, and evaluate clinical standards, practices, and interventions aimed at improving the health of vulnerable, marginalized, and at-risk populations.
Responsibilities- Conduct research in behavioral health, with a focus on suicide prevention or end-of-life care
- Develop and submit grant proposals to advance behavioral health science
- Design, implement, and evaluate clinical standards, practices, and interventions
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to advance the mission of the School of Social Work
- Ph.D. in social work, public health, psychology, or related field from an accredited institution
- Strong research interest in behavioral health topics across the lifespan
- Excellent methodological and statistical skills
- Previous experience in grant writing and working in a team setting
