As a Facility Operator, you will play a critical role in the production of high-quality asphalt binder, working closely with a tight-knit team to solve everyday issues and ensure the smooth operation of our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with testing products in the laboratory to ensure quality specifications are met
  • Input quality specifications and batch data into reports to track production and quality metrics
  • Sample product quality to ensure it meets company standards
  • Load and unload trucks and railcars to facilitate the movement of materials
  • Conduct minor maintenance on equipment in the plant, including pumps, racks, and mixers
  • Attend and participate in daily production, quality, and EHS meetings to stay informed and contribute to a safe working environment
  • Utilize proactive tools, such as safety checklists, to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  • Maintain good facility housekeeping to ensure a clean and organized workspace
  • Stay current on required training to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Wear provided personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment
  • Effectively communicate with fellow operators, management, trucking companies, and customers to meet needs and resolve issues
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Excel (preferred)
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions
  • Basic math skills (e.g., add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  • Ability to learn computer skills
  • Able to lift 50 pounds with assistance and perform jobs that involve lifting, bending, climbing tanks and other structures
  • Valid driver's license
  • Able to work days and hours as scheduled, Monday through Sunday
  • Outdoor work in all seasons
