Job Overview

Position Summary: Responsible for the upkeep, repair, and restoration of gas compression machinery within a preparation facility. Serves as a technical expert for intricate challenges in the designated area.

Key Skills and Competencies:
Proficient in:
- Advanced troubleshooting and repair techniques on various equipment types, including compressor systems, gas processing, and power generation machinery utilized in the region.
- Executing Preventative Maintenance (PM) independently and to established standards.
- Leading a team in conducting Major Maintenance (MM), Overhaul, and project tasks with minimal supervision.
- Performing compressor calculations accurately.
- Providing exceptional customer service.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English (including work orders and manuals).
- Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental protocols.
- Utilizing computer skills, including vendor-specific software (Cat, Waukesha, Ariel, Murphy, etc.), Internet Explorer, and Outlook.
- Completing and submitting required documentation accurately and punctually.

Knowledge Base:
- Extensive understanding of gas engines and compressors, electrical systems, control panels, and wiring through advanced training or verified performance.
- Awareness of emerging technologies.
- Solid grasp of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Comprehensive understanding of compressor operations and systems.

Educational Background and Certifications:
- Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Training in gas or diesel engines and compressors.

Experience Requirements:
- Generally, a minimum of 5 years of experience with natural gas engines and compressors.
- Proven track record of safe and effective service experience.

Leadership Responsibilities:
- Expected to act as a mentor and resource for others, facilitating knowledge transfer and training while reviewing work.
- May occasionally supervise a team.

Additional Responsibilities: Performs other assigned tasks as necessary.
