Job Summary

Kodiak Gas Services is seeking a skilled Emissions Technician to join our team. As an Emissions Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our compression units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular emissions tests on compression units to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on emissions control systems to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to identify and address any issues related to emissions control.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in emissions control and management.
Requirements
  • 0-1 years of experience in natural gas compression or a related field.
  • OEM, trade school, or comparable work experience in a related field/industry.
  • Strong mechanical intuition or ability.
  • Comprehension of OEM and miscellaneous technical manuals and literature.
  • Operation of commercial vehicles and cranes.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude/mechanically inclined.
  • Communication and customer service skills.
  • High level of organizational skills.
  • Microsoft Office suite (excel, word, outlook).
  • Positive attitude and high level of energy.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Working Conditions
  • Overtime, extended or non-traditional working hours may be required.
  • Must be able to stand or walk on uneven terrain, climb personnel stairs and ladders, stoop, squat and/or crawl depending on the directed task.
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures, weather conditions and environments on a location-by-location basis.
  • High noise environment (>85 dbA) will occur with ear protection.
  • Potential controlled, exposure to hazardous chemicals.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing, kneeling, bending, squatting, twisting for long periods of time.
  • Climb ladders up to 25 feet.
  • Ability to use common hand tools related to job needs.
