About the Role

The Mental Health Technician plays a vital role in the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, and interaction with patients of all ages. This position requires a high level of empathy, understanding, and communication skills to ensure the well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including supervision, interaction, and role modeling
  • Work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to ensure the highest level of patient care
  • Assist with behavioral health assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • High School Degree or equivalent required; Certified Nursing Assistant accepted
  • Two (2) years of related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness
  • Ability to work 2nd shift, rotating holidays, and every other weekend
