We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Direct Support Professional. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health, and/or substance use needs to live their best lives.
Key Responsibilities- Promote healthy living and prevent illness and accidents.
- Increase awareness of self-advocacy and support individual choice and decision-making.
- Accompany individuals to work, social events, and community outings.
- Teach independent living skills and provide education on human, legal, and civil rights.
- Document the care provided and maintain confidentiality.
- Connect individuals with resources to further explore opportunities in their career, education, and personal growth.
- Promote effective communication and foster positive relationships within the community.
- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid drivers' license (if required for transportation)
