Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Family Intervention Specialist to join our team at Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. (YAP). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct services to children and families, as guided by program requirements and an Individualized Service Plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct services to children and families, adhering to the YAP wraparound advocacy model of service.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Service Plans, in collaboration with the child and family.
  • Integrate interventions deemed appropriate by the Individualized Service Plan, maintaining fidelity to both YAP's model and the interventions selected for each family.
  • Travel to various locations to provide services, requiring reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
  • At least one (1) year of experience working with children and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
