Pipe Quality Control Inspector Job Summary

At Alltex Staffing & Personnel, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products meets the required specifications and tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of products during the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Verify the calibration and working condition of measuring equipment against established standards.
  • Identify and segregate defective products and rework materials.
  • Test and measure products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
  • Operate heavy-duty and standard forklifts and overhead cranes safely and efficiently.

Requirements and Qualifying Skills:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, particularly in OCTG or Line Pipe production.
  • Proficiency in using micrometers, ovality, and ultrasonic thickness gages.
  • Basic arithmetic math skills and ability to read measuring equipment.
  • Good hand-eye coordination, finger dexterity, and ability to push and pull heavy loads.
  • Excellent housekeeping skills, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Ability to work a standard 40-hour workweek, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Basic computer skills and effective communication skills.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are a plus.
