Key Responsibilities:- Perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology, ensuring good clinical skills and providing the best possible images for interpretation.
- Apply principles of radiation protection and comply with regulations to ensure patient safety.
- Assume responsibility for designated areas and provide clinical instruction as appropriate, following Corewell Health's philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.
- Effectively communicate with customers, administrative staff, medical staff, and peers to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
- Utilize ALARA standards to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self.
- Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program.
- Current CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or ARC American Red Cross certification.
