The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our cutting-edge blockchain systems. As a DevOps Engineer at Ethos, you will have the opportunity to work at the forefront of emerging blockchain technologies, utilizing your expertise to maintain and enhance our systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain CI/CD Pipelines: Design and implement efficient Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines across multiple environments to ensure seamless production of software products.
  • Collaborate with Software Engineers: Work closely with our software engineering team to ensure the development of high-quality, efficient, and secure systems that meet the needs of our customers.
  • System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor and analyze system metrics to identify and troubleshoot issues proactively, ensuring the stability and reliability of our systems.
  • Infrastructure Security and Maintenance: Ensure that our system infrastructure remains secure, reliable, and fault-tolerant, with a focus on maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance.
  • Automated Deployment and Testing: Contribute to the development and improvement of automated deployment and testing systems to streamline our software development lifecycle.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • Proven DevOps Experience: Proven experience as a DevOps engineer in a similar environment is essential.
  • Blockchain Technology Expertise: Familiarity with blockchain technology and the cryptocurrency ecosystem is a must.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with a firm grasp of system troubleshooting methodologies are required.
  • Coding Proficiency: Proficiency in coding with Python, Ruby, Java, or similar languages is necessary.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Configuration Management Systems: Experience with configuration management systems such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible is a plus.
  • Container Orchestration Services: Good understanding of container orchestration services, preferably Kubernetes, is desirable.
  • Network Architectures and Services: Knowledge of network architectures and services (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) is a bonus.
  • Cloud Platforms and Services: Experience with cloud platforms and services like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure is highly desirable.
  • Certifications: Certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar are a plus.
