About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Affinity at Southridge in Kennewick, WA. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our property, providing excellent customer service to our residents, and building strong relationships with our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by responding promptly to service requests and work orders.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
  • Assist with daily inspections of the building and grounds to ensure the safety of residents and the protection of the building asset.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide evening, weekend, and holiday emergency service as required.
  • Repair and maintain equipment owned by the community.
  • Assist with painting apartments and community common areas.
  • Complete grounds maintenance, including trash pick-up, landscaping, power washing common areas, carports, and buildings.
  • Wash the pool deck with fresh water weekly.
  • Assist with appliance repair and replacement.
  • Perform or assist with the hanging of new light fixtures and ceiling fans.
  • Assist in maintaining pool equipment, including pool chemical monitoring.
  • Safely operate and maintain property golf cart if use is required.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • Valid driver's license and insured, operable vehicle.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with residents and team members.
  • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Preferred experience in residential property management, hotel maintenance, construction, electrical, plumbing, or painting.
