ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Demonstrates, observes, and provides constructive feedback on instructional practices.
  • Collaborates with educators to ensure the effective implementation of evidence-based reading programs.
  • Models successful instructional strategies for teaching staff.
  • Possesses knowledge and experience in leading high-functioning Professional Learning Communities (PLCs).
  • Plans and executes professional development opportunities for educators, both individualized and group-based.
  • Ensures intervention systems are systematic, focused, and intensive, applied with integrity for positive outcomes.
  • Oversees progress monitoring and identifies students requiring tailored reading interventions.
  • Engages in various school and district-level committees and teams.
  • Assumes coaching responsibilities utilizing diverse coaching methods (e.g., modeling, co-teaching, real-time feedback) with a results-oriented focus.
  • Facilitates ongoing professional development to enhance teachers' capacity for impactful Tier 1 instruction and student intervention strategies.
  • Models intervention protocols and provides feedback for intervention staff and educators.
  • Collects, interprets, and analyzes data to evaluate student outcomes, inform instructional practices, and assess coaching and intervention effectiveness.
  • Supports collaborative team meetings in making data-driven decisions, planning Tier 1 instruction, and identifying intervention strategies.
  • Stays updated on best practices in MTSS, instruction, and student interventions.
  • Provides training for staff on planning, implementation, and utilization of local assessments and progress monitoring.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Training in instructional coaching methodologies (e.g., Cognitive Coaching, Adaptive Schools, Coaching 101).
  • Knowledge of evidence-based reading intervention programs (e.g., Rewards and Read 180).
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with all staff and administration.
  • Capacity to communicate with district-level administration regarding student data and program effectiveness.
SALARY: Based on Teacher Contract and Salary Schedule
