Host/Hostess Opportunity at The Hammered Crab

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Host/Hostess to join our team at The Hammered Crab in Gulf Shores, AL. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests and provide a warm and inviting atmosphere
  • Manage reservations and waiting lists efficiently
  • Escort customers to their assigned dining or bar areas
  • Provide menus and announce Server/Bartender's name
  • Thank customers upon their departure
  • Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
  • Maintain a clean reception area
  • Cater to guests who require extra attention
  • Answer incoming calls and address customers' questions
  • Assist wait/bar staff as needed
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work with a team
  • Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willing to work in a smoke, tobacco, and drug-free work environment
