Primary Responsibilities of a Warehouse Associate:
  • Operate a propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift (training provided).
  • Load and unload storage containers onto and off truck beds for delivery.
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Assist customers, including selling support items and utilizing online dispatch systems.
  • Conduct inspections of U-Box containers before dispatch and upon return.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for the delivery or pickup of goods.
  • Maintain a clean, dry, and secure warehouse environment.
  • Engage in continuous learning through U-Haul University.
Minimum Qualifications for Warehouse Associates:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Compliance with all local and federal vehicular regulations.
Work Environment:

The role involves moderate risks or discomforts requiring safety precautions, such as working around machinery and potential irritants. Protective clothing or gear may be necessary.

Physical Demands:

This position requires physical exertion, including long periods of standing, moving, and lifting items weighing a minimum of 50 lbs, either assisted or unassisted.
