Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Specialist

About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist Specialist to join our team at Universal Speech Therapy, Inc. in Manchester New Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders.
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students' needs and progress.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with parents, administration, and staff to ensure effective care and support.
  • Therapy Services: Provide screenings, evaluations, and speech language therapy services to students K-5.
  • IEP Meetings: Participate in and facilitate IEP meetings to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs.
  • Billing and Record Keeping: Bill Medicaid for services rendered and maintain accurate records of student progress.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data and maintain records regarding student progress.
  • Progress Notes: Write detailed progress notes to document student growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Certification: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience: Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of IEP writing and therapeutic interventions.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

Compensation:

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $60-$65 per hour, along with a bonus/commission structure that rewards hard work and dedication.
