Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to join our team at GPAC. As a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on gasoline and diesel engine-powered heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex problems with heavy equipment, including electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Work on a wide range of heavy equipment, including excavators, water trucks, scrapers, packers, tractors, skytrax, backhoes, and skid-loaders.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete projects and meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
