Team Focus:
We are currently hiring for the following teams within the Identity organization:

  • Identity Verifications: This team is responsible for designing and implementing solutions that streamline the onboarding process for Cash App users, focusing on the collection and verification of essential information.
  • Identity Lifecycle: This team develops scalable solutions to manage customer identity data, ensuring support extends beyond the initial onboarding phase.
Key Responsibilities

As a member of the Cash App Identity team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, building, and maintaining core systems for identity management on Cash App.
  • Creating a scalable, secure, and reliable identity system.
  • Solving complex technical challenges creatively and efficiently.
  • Utilizing leading identity verification technologies.
  • Contributing to the definition and execution of an evolving roadmap.
  • Collaborating with Compliance and Legal teams to facilitate audits and implement necessary regulatory measures.
  • Participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure service reliability.
Qualifications

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in developing complex systems and delivering high-quality software.
  • A strong sense of curiosity and a passion for crafting innovative solutions to intricate problems.
  • Experience with systems requiring data consistency and availability.
  • A track record of taking technical initiative in previous roles.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in the complete software development lifecycle.
