Environmental Protection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Bioenvironmental Engineer to join our team at the United States Air Force. As a Bioenvironmental Engineer, you will play a critical role in protecting our Airmen from environmental hazards and ensuring their health and safety in environments around the world.
Key Responsibilities- Apply engineering and scientific principles to identify and evaluate potential environmental dangers
- Develop programs to prevent illness and injury, with a focus on discovering problems before they occur
- Collaborate with other specialists to ensure the health and safety of Airmen and their families
- Meet the minimum education and qualification requirements set by the Air Force, Department of Defense, and federal law
- Hold a Bachelor of Science in engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- Complete a qualifying Bioenvironmental Engineering course
- Have a minimum of 24 months of experience in bioenvironmental engineering assignments
- Complete the Officer Training School course
- Be between the ages of 18 and 42
