Position Overview

Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, First Shift 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Compensation: $17.50 - $19/hr based on experience

Location: San Diego

Experience Required: Minimum of 6 months in a similar role

Job Responsibilities

PrideStaff is excited to present an opportunity for a Production Assembly Technician in San Diego. This role involves collaborating with a leading employer in the industry.

  • Perform assembly and fabrication of products utilizing hot melt glue, fasteners, and other adhesives as directed.
  • Assist in kitting, assembling, and packaging samples, marketing materials, and sales support items.
  • Maintain quality control throughout all stages of material handling, storage, and assembly.
  • Provide occasional support to the warehouse for handling, transferring, and packaging tasks based on workload.
  • Ensure the organization, upkeep, and cleanliness of the assembly workspace.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous assembly experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to stand for the entire shift.
  • Warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors.
Requirements
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while stationary.
  • Able to stand for the full duration of the shift.
  • Manual dexterity and efficiency in a high-volume setting.
  • Must provide two professional references.
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
