About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Airline Safety Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the Safety Management System (SMS) at the station level, providing support to operational leaders on key safety areas, including Ground/Ramp Safety, Fueling Safety, and Passenger Service Agent Safety, while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement SMS policies, procedures, and tools to enhance safety standards and position the company as the Ground Handler of choice.
  2. Conduct quality and compliance checks on ground safety activities, including monitoring employee safety, SOP adherence, and reviewing vehicles, aircraft, and ground service equipment.
  3. Serve as the station SMS expert, providing training and coaching on Safety, Quality Assurance, and Human Factors to support employees and management in safety and QA operations.
  4. Manage the internal Quality Program to monitor compliance with FAA regulations, IATA safety standards (ISAGO/ISARPS), and business partner SOPs.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience with FAA Safety Management Systems and operating in airport environments, a high school education or GED required, Associate Degree, or higher preferred. Additionally, they must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents, and have intermediate/highly proficient Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook skills.

Estimated Salary Range
The estimated salary for this role is between $80,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications, skills, competencies, education, and experience. PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. offers a competitive pay scale, with opportunities for career progression and professional growth.
